Senior BIM Technician – Building Services

£37,500–£45,000 + Car Allowance | Hybrid – 2 Days in Office

Manchester | London | Warwick | Derby | York

An excellent opportunity to join a growing Building Services team where you’ll work on major, technically complex Defence, Nuclear and Custodial projects, with access to specialist engineering expertise across multiple UK and European offices. You’ll benefit from hybrid working, a car allowance, long-term secured projects and genuine career development, while taking a key role in delivering high-quality, coordinated MEP models rather than working purely within information management.

The Role

Working alongside Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, you will:

  • Develop coordinated 2D and 3D MEP models and technical drawings
  • Produce accurate Building Services information from concept through to detailed design
  • Undertake clash detection and resolution using Revit and Navisworks
  • Work in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans
  • Prepare COBie and asset information
  • Coordinate with engineers, clients and wider design teams
  • Support project delivery across small to medium-sized schemes
  • Mentor and support junior technicians

About You

You will have:

  • Strong Revit MEP / Building Services modelling experience
  • Senior-level experience delivering coordinated MEP models
  • Good knowledge of Navisworks and clash detection
  • Understanding of BIM delivery, standards and assurance processes
  • Experience producing coordinated design information through different project stages
  • Strong communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills
  • AutoCAD and IES experience would be advantageous

This is not a traditional BIM/information management position – you must have hands-on experience modelling Mechanical and/or Electrical Building Services systems.

Why Join?

  • £37,500–£45,000 + car allowance
  • Hybrid working – only 2 days per week in the office
  • Choice of Manchester, London, Warwick, Derby or York
  • Major, technically challenging projects
  • Strong pipeline of secured, long-term work
  • Growing Building Services team
  • Access to specialist expertise across a wider multidisciplinary business
  • Excellent opportunities for continued technical and career development

Security

Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be eligible to obtain SC clearance and already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available.
