We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Engineer, with a genuine passion for civil engineering, to join our clients Civil & Transportation team.

Core duties and responsibilities :

Maintain PM contact for project delivery and ensure that project delivery meets the client’s objectives and requirements.
Ensure that the technical content of all work carried out is correct and completed in accordance within agreed timescales and budgets.
Undertake elements of the detailed design and provide technical assurance input.
Provide technical guidance, support and training to colleagues and assist, where practicable, in mentoring and development of others.
Work in close collaboration with customers and colleagues from other disciplines in the UK and Europe.
Produce design deliverables to achieve the optimum engineering solution for the project.
Recommend / implement improvements to technical policy, processes and design solutions and share via the knowledge management channels as appropriate.
 

You will possess :

Relevant post qualification highway design experience and a strong successful record of project delivery in highways design.
Significant previous experience of providing project governance on transportation infrastructure projects.
Ability to gain insight beyond a client’s immediate need to identify opportunities that benefit the client through meaningful and productive relationships.
Ability to effectively influence and inspire others to achieve their potential.
 

Preferred :

Experience of Civil3D / MX / OpenRoads, MS Excel, AutoCAD and MS Project.
Delivery of local authority design projects
BIM Knowledge.
Accredited Civil Engineering degree or equivalent

Professional Membership and Qualification :

Degree qualification in an engineering subject.
Ideally have a Professional Membership of appropriate institution.
