Code Resource’s Geoscience team are currently seeking an experienced Geophysicist to work at a Senior level for our clients office in Poland. Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

-Relevant degree in Geosciences, with good technical knowledge of geophysical principles and quantitative seismic interpretation techniques
-15+ years of experience in 2D and 3D seismic interpretation, depth conversion, mapping and prospect generation
-Fluent Polish and English
-Results oriented with ability to prioritise and deliver results .
-Some experience with one or more of the European Permian Basin, tight gas reservoirs fold and thrust belt exploration
-Experience within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers
-Good organisational skills
-Computer literacy and ability to analyse numerical and graphical data
-Good written and verbal communication skills

Main job responsibilities:

1. Assume responsibility for geophysical evaluation of the clients assets to enable the company’s exploration programme to be achieved.
2. Assume a Project Lead role on specific assets, liaising with Partners, coordinating projects and managing budgets.
3. Undertake technical evaluation of the acreage, if necessary utilising consultant assistance so as to enable the company to achieve its exploration objectives.
4. Assess all available seismic data and recommend further seismic processing and acquisition as appropriate.
5. Interpret and integrate geological and geophysical data to enable play mapping and regional evaluations.
6. Working closely with other members of the team, map prospects and assess the associated reserves and risk of these prospects.
7. Ensure the provision of specific geophysical support to the projects as required.
8. Carry out evaluations of new venture opportunities, supported as necessary by Consultants. Present these evaluations with appropriate recommendations to management.
9. Contribute to the wider business development of company by providing support on an ad hoc basis.
10. Ensure that Geophysicist keeps professionally up to date on everything to do with their area of expertise through journals, conferences and training.
