Code Resource’s Geoscience team are currently seeking a Geologist to work for our client out of there office in Poland. The role with this client gives you the opportunity to further your career and make a real difference within the company to acheive the goals that are set out.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

-Degree in Geology
-Fluent English and Polish
-Experience in contributing to the overall evaluation of exploration projects
-Experience of the Permian Basin and Tight Gas Plays
-Experience of fold and thrust belt exploration
-Between 5 and 15 years experience as a geologist in the field of oil and gas exploration in an operational environment

Job Responsibilities:

1. Working closely with the geophysicist and using all available data and information, evaluate acreage, map prospects, assess risk and reserves of projects, and commission additional reports as required, so as to enable decisions to be made regarding the viability of exploration projects.
2. In conjunction with reservoir engineering and business development personnel, develop well proposals to include the well prognosis and an appropriate evaluation of reservoirs. During drilling and working closely with the rig site personnel, monitor data and make appropriate updates to the prognosis and forward plan.
3. Ensure the provision of specific support to the project including conducting analyses of samples (cores , fluids , cuttings etc ) from the project.
4. Supported as necessary by Consultants, generate and prepare comprehensive reports on new ventures which will enable the business to make appropriate decisions relating to these ventures.
5. The job holder will ensure that he/she keeps professionally up to date on everything to do with their area of expertise through journals, conferences and training
