The nuclear sector is proving to be one of Code's core business streams and in 2012 we will see even further developments. Due to an increase in nuclear decommissioning activity in the North, one of Code's leading business partners seek to strengthen their Planning Group.

A contract Planning Engineer is needed to support the project team by providing a planning function involving development of project delivery programmes, life cycle and cost levels, baseline management, status and progress monitoring, earned value analysis and EAC forecasting.

Full proficiency of Primavera P6 is required along with 10 years experience (5 of which should ideally be in the nuclear industry).

An understanding of programme development including the assignment of resource and expense, and previous experience of earned value reporting with regard to schedule and cost performance indices.

A long term contract assignment that is to run beyond a 2 year period.
