Our client a respected and very busy civil structural consultancy is recruiting a Structural Engineer due to continued and sustained growth, to be based out of their Manchester offices. As a Structural Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on varied and interesting structures and buildings projects as part of an established team, across a variety of sectors including commercial, high rise, leisure, education, industrial.
The company has a reputation for promoting from within, so if you are ambitious and wanting to progress, you have a clear path to senior engineer. The company has a strong support network with lots of chartered engineers, and they will have a structured path to get you chartered.
As a Structural Engineer you will work in modern open offices, in a friendly and relaxed collaborative work environment including break out and chill out areas, the role offers hybrid working to fit into your lifestyle.
About you and the role
- As Structural Engineer the role will require you to work on a range of buildings projects, refits, refurbs and new builds, utilising materials including concrete, steel, masonry, timber.
- As a structural engineer you will have 2 years+ buildings structures design experience across a range of sectors, predominantly utilising concrete and steel (masonry and timber a plus).
- You should have used design software such as TSD, Tedds etc.

Base salary c35k-42k depending on experience
25 days holiday + bank holidays
