Our client a respected and very busy civil structural consultancy, due to steady and continuous growth is recruiting a Drainage/Highways design engineer based out of the Manchester offices. As a Civil Design Engineer they can offer a variety of infrastructure and associated buildings projects for you to work on as part of a team.
As a Drainage / Highway design engineer you will work in modern open offices, in a friendly and relaxed collaborative work environment including break out and chill out areas, the role offers hybrid working to fit into your lifestyle.
As a Civil Design Engineer you will work on varied projects in Drainage and highways related design projects.
On offer
salary c40k-45k depending on experience
25 days holiday
6 % pension
Progression opportunity to Senior

About You and the role
- Production of designs for infrastructure and associated planning schemes to appropriate standards from initial concepts to detailed design.
- You will have experience in drainage or highways design (or both)
- Assistance in preparation of contract documents and specifications.
- Proficient in the use of softwares such as Civil 3D, Microdrainage, Causeway or similar software
- You will ideally be on a chartered plan or looking to gain chartership
