An international design consultancy expects to be awarded a major defence project in West Africa imminently.

The project requires a site based presence, along the lines of Resident Engineer/Client Site Representative.
Contract duration will be circa 52 weeks, and the working week is 6 days, based upon leave rotation to be agreed.
Accommodation, food and transport will be provided, as will periodic return flights.
The project is a pair of training facilities.
The country is extremely politically settled, and has very close trading ties with the UK.

The role is to provide the end client and the consultancy with a site based technical lead person, someone who can examine the work being conducted by the MEP contractor and ensure that it meets with the technical and clients brief.

What will the appointed person look like?
Excellent client facing skills
Experience within a site based role
Strong technical and design experience
Probably no less than 15 years Building Services experience in a technical role.
Degree qualified in Building Services (or a related subject)
